 | Yogizilla is a 29 year old guy in a relationship from New York, New York, USA. I'm just an average Joe looking to provide sound advice to others. In a few words, I'd consider myself a life-long learner and hopeless romantic. I love good conversation and networking. The web excites me because it continues to be home to some of the best easter eggs, knowledge, and collaborative projects. With the days of BBS and Usenet behind us (mostly), this is really the best option. If you know any sites with business/marketing knoweldge, useful tools, weird stuff, rarities, cult classics, oddities, or just plain geeky stuff, we GOTTA talk! I myself have my hands in a lot of exciting projects right now and have come across some spiffy stuff throughout my adventures so, if you are curious, just ask! ^_^ |

 - The Good, The Bad, and The Ukulele | Groovy Grooves
Nov 27, 2007 3:12pm (48 reviews) music, british-humor, orchestra http://www.groovygrooves.com/video/the-g...- This funny video makes me nostalgic as, in Puerto Rico, I have relatives that play the quatro.. It bares similarities to the ukelele. Good memories there!
These folks are good.. They even put in the whistling and chants. Very nice.. A very good sound for this holiday season, too! 8)
 - Charleston Dance, Daft Punk Beat | Groovy Grooves
Nov 26, 2007 4:08am (54 reviews) music, dance, rediculous, daftpunk http://www.groovygrooves.com/video/charl...- I'm a huge fan of Daft Punk and similar sounds. Seeing the old meet the new like this is quite cool. This is entertaining on many levels.. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and then you'll giggle like a school girl! Well, crying.. not so much. ;o)
Gotta love the swinging-roaring 20's.. Especially when you infuse them with good 'ol electronic music - w00t!! =oD
 - Anywhere.FM
Sep 6, 2007 2:35pm (107 reviews) music, social-media, deliocioso http://www.anywhere.fm/- I'm not sure who sent this stumble my way but great find! Take the social media trend, combine it with music sharing, and you got yourself Anywhere.FM! It seems like there are many sites like this popping up but the interface on this one is quite cool plus you get to upload your own songs, which is a BIG plus.
I like the fact that the free songs are all mostly garage bands. There are some bugs but I think it's being worked out. Definitely worth checking it out. Sadly, as some others have mentioned, it is only time before the legal "boffins" mess with yet another great online community resource! 8)
 - Lunar - Wall Of Sound
Mar 18, 2007 9:25am (107 reviews) electronica, trance, music, creativecommons, chillout http://www.lunarmusic.net/- Great stuff. I'm totally going to listen to this while working on my design and writing work today. If you guys and gals like this, check out Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" - VERY good! Sasha's stuff is not available via an open licensing model like Creative Commons but it is pretty accessible if you want to sample his stuff. It's a very nice continuous mix too. Anywho, I wouldn't compare this to BT as the flavor is different. ATB maybe and even that is a stretch. That stuff is more dance/club music whereas this is totally for a lounge, chillout experience.. w00t!!
 - Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music
Mar 17, 2007 8:15pm (2470 reviews) music, webradio, pandora, musicgenome, socialmedia http://www.pandora.com/- Pandora is one of those little hidden gems of the web. It's part of the whole Web 2.0/social media movement and it shows you just how effective the plans to revolutionize the Net really are. Like any massive project, the revenue model depends heavily on ads but the way they have integrated them keeps the experience very pure and enjoyable, without bogging down your computer - HUGE PLUS!
