Yogizilla I like this

Yogizilla is a 29 year old guy in a relationship from New York, New York, USA.
I'm just an average Joe looking to provide sound advice to others. In a few words, I'd consider myself a life-long learner and hopeless romantic. I love good conversation and networking. The web excites me because it continues to be home to some of the best easter eggs, knowledge, and collaborative projects. With the days of BBS and Usenet behind us (mostly), this is really the best option. If you know any sites with business/marketing knoweldge, useful tools, weird stuff, rarities, cult classics, oddities, or just plain geeky stuff, we GOTTA talk! I myself have my hands in a lot of exciting projects right now and have come across some spiffy stuff throughout my adventures so, if you are curious, just ask! ^_^
BABO Invasion

This title looks very promising. I wonder if they'll go with a subscriber model or work out some other revenue model... I've given this game props on GameSpot, WordPress, SU, and all over the place. It's good to see indie developers like myself find great success! =oD Babo, an RND Labs franchise, reaches the next level.. Check out my GameSpot blog for the latest, as information becomes available (yes, I am the Yogizilla quoted in their official trailer too)! 8)

After years of debating whether or not it'd be prudent to join this community over the myriad of related web sites, I decided to go ahead and jump on this bandwagon, mainly because my friends and long-time clanmates, my fellow Nips, are on here too. Gamespot, like many other communities, is not without it's drama and politics but it's one of the most complete communities out there. As I cultivate my own communities and web sites, mingling with the Gamespotters is proving to not only be good networking but also a reminder of why my true calling has always been in video games, writing, and being a professional geek - w00tash!! (Yes, I have a blog here too.. It's more focused on video games, geek sub-culture, oddities, and artsy-fartsy stuff, naturally.. Check out my bits on the current "next-gen" console wars - it's sure to ruffle some feathers!) Creepy baby.. Yes, I know. Yogizilla's creepy baby spy sees all... O_O
Microsoft Reminds Us Why They Suck: XBox LIVE Outages and Poor Customer...

Time for some SCANDALOUS news! Microsoft's Passport system gets hacked once again but, this time, it gets really ugly. XBox LIVE continues to have MAJOR problems for several weeks now. 360 console owners will get a free XBox LIVE Arcade game. The overseas outsourcing of XBox support has resulted in all sorts of fun stuff, not limited to the customer service reps laughing and hanging up on callers. Read this article for the details of all this and more! Microsoft is certainly coming under fire once again. WOOHOO!

I may be the only gamer geek in the entire universe that isn't absolutely exploding at the thought of Halo 3 being out in just a few days. It's definitely a big day in gaming history but, for me, it'll be business as usual. The FPS arena has seen little innovation, with few exceptions here and there, since the original DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D, and Ken's Labyrinth but, if you're new to it all, I can see where it can be exciting. If you are like me and don't buy into all the hype, check out my little article on MySpace. I talk about why Halo 3 is so big for Microsoft and what it could have been if they had not been smart about marketing. If you want to flame me, go for it! I'm not saying the game stinks but, certainly, it's being a bit overly-hyped. ;o) For those that think Halo is the best thing since sliced bread, ignore my rants and raves on the topic and click on this picture of the full version of Halo 3 (yes, some people have it)... PEW PEW PEW - HALO STYLE!!!

As some of you may know, I am involved with a gaming group for a long time now. We're not the typical gaming clan as we are more about making friendships, both online and offline. We also like to focus on retro-style games and older games. Diablo II and Soldier of Fortune 2 seem to be two very strong mainstays, along with Duke Nuke 3D. I invite everyone to sign up on our forums and join our geeky discussions, meetups, gaming, and other fun!

Okay Jules, time for you to get happy-pappy: a super-simple 3D take on Pong. This game is very user-friendly too - all you need to do is move the paddle around! The depth indicators make it easy to judge where the ball is going too.. w3rd!
Babo Violent 2 - News

Get the latest official Babo news here! All right, as nice as this marketing pitch from dxOne sounds, I'd like to give a more to down-to-Earth review. Babo Violent 2 presents more of what the gaming world needs right now: a simple game with high replay value, tightly-knit community, and easy-to-learn mechanics. I know that I have my gaming clan/social group (The Nipples of Fate) involved on this and it is just the sort of game that I am working on myself. We're quite enjoying the game! w00t!! Big props to RND Labs on this successful, ongoing project and the coming BaboViolent 3. My only lament is that the community has quite a few elitist snobs, which can turn off the casual gamer. I'd say explore this game with a bunch of friends for the optimal experience! 8) Seksy yet simple OpenGL graphics engine and a user-friendly UI - a winning combination! Observer Mode is great for learning the basic tactics and strategies to the game! CTF is the main gameplay mode for Babo and thus accounts for some of the smart core mechanics in the game. Several players can play on the tiniest of maps, which can result in some very bloody messes and frenzied fun!
Cereal Box Prize

Leave it to Tom's Hardware to over-complicate the simple matter of obtaining a cool cereal box prize. I'm glad there are finally some good toys in the cereal once again but I still say glow-in-the-dark doo-dads beat all. This may come pretty close, along with FREE Lego mail-order packs (then again, that's not a pack-in)... ...Hmmm, if anyone can find some vintage cereal box prize images, that'd be awesome. I smell a new obsession. Cracker Jack prizes count too. Remember those miniature pinball machines or the baking-soda-propelled toy submarines?? YES.. Good times!!!
